Hi,

i have an dockstar running openwrt but would like to switch to debian or something else because openwrt is kinda crippled.

Under openwrt jeff's script does not work and blparam aint working either.
However i have access over the serial cable and an working tftp server.
I'm just dont know where to go from here.

Any help is very appreciated

thanks.

I am still struggling with Asterisk and FreePBX, but I have no problem to install Debian at all using Jeff's script.  Why don't you directly install it from Pogoplug native Linux instead of Openwrt?

Start a post over here: http://forum.doozan.com

Jeff Doozan is the guy that has figured out how to get debian on the dockstar. I am sure he can get you back.

Please post solution on this thread if you figure it out, even if it is just a link to Jeff's instructions on his website.

Thanks.

Sorry if this is due to my ignorance.   Just to my curiosity, can you tell me how this happend.  Do you received the Dockstar with no native linux installed when received or the installation of openwrt wiped out original linux?

I really hope you can get this working, but outside of  klingon, I don't know of anyone else here, that is going to be able to help.

Jeff Doozan's site linked above or check the forums at plugapps.com will be your best bet.

If you can get debian installed, then we are a wealth of knowledge. Grin

I don't know anyone on this forum that has done any uboot work.

It seems you have over written boot loader at address 0x0, it can be debricked using Jtag.  I did it, it's not that hard by following the following link:
