Using Admin's last install script, running one process then exit.

no longer need asterisk-addons, it is all included in the release and 'make menuselect'
There seems to be a certain amount of confusion being displayed in this thread with the methodology of installing Asterisk 1.8, for instance, asterisk-addons is not required, as it is now included in the main Asterisk tarball, and installed by choosing the appropriate options using make menuselect, and some doubt as to whether "make config" is required (it's not). if you guys need any help with this, then please ask.

apt-get install subversion
cd /usr/src/asterisk-1.8.3.2/
svn export
http://svn.digium.com/svn/thirdparty/mp3/trunk addons/mp3
on asterisk install, selected:
select app_mysql, cdr_mysql, format_mp3, res_config_mysql
go to Extras Sound Packages
Select EXTRAS-SOUNDS-EN-GSM
Save & Exit
asterisk compiling now 12:28 CDT USA
