Yesterday we found out that you seem to have solved one of the seven goals defined by the Eben Moglen's freedombox foundation http://freedomboxfoundation.org/goals/

Are you aware of the freedombox project? I didn't see any mention of plugpbx on the freedombox mailing list, nor vice versa. Would you be willing to work together? If so, please send an email presenting your project on the freedombox mailing list http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/freedombox-discuss

If anything, it would help people to know about your project. And maybe it will lead to a cooperation, that would be cool!

I was approached by someone from FreedomBox awhile ago waaay back.... Nothing much came from it.... My front webpage discuses the basics nicely, have 'em come by and visit. Feel free to Plug the website url and we'll go from there.

One idea with Freedom box would be to have a 'mesh' style asterisk or something.....Freedom box users could build an ad-hoc telecom network based on e164.org or something...
