Hi everyone,

I am interested to use the plugs for PBX. However, failing power supplies and other parts is not attractive in my situation because my clients are scattered all over and then things should just die one day as I won't be able to support them all.

From what I know there is ShivaPlug, GuruPlug, DreamPlug, and there is even a plug from SNOM ONE SOHO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaZnrbf_Wnc

So, clearly there is someone that white labels these boards and sells them. Does anyone know who it is? It would be great to know and to make my own one with quality parts.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

myself I've been in a wait-and-see approach.

I've had two first rev Sheeva's power supplies fail. I've purchases a third with the newer power supply, and I've replaced a failed PS with a newer generation unit.

Even still, the venting seems less than idea, so I've drememed open the casing to allow better air flow with any units I've repaired / replaced.  They seem reliable when the older power supply and/or venting is solved - but I'd like to see Sheevas with the newer power supplys prove reliable, and the only answer to that is run time...

Your mileage may vary. There are lots of options out there, Google around for various ARM devices, form factors, casings and reliability.

My PS went and I decided to replace it with a wall wart from an old router.  I installed a jack in my sheeva plug and it has been working fine since.  I don't have any worries with the wall wart, plus I no longer have heat generated by the internal PS.
